History would be made when Didier Bertrand,a dietician with a huge passion for cuisine met adolphe Besnard.A stylist and interior designer which would lead to the opening of Bertrand first The Shop in 1998 in the neighborhood of Saint-Lazare in Paris. There they would sell chocolates and cookies scoring a lot success with those famous purple ones. The Shop soon looked like a real ladies private room with a decor of 20’s offering now not just pastries but a collection of bags and accessories. In 2001 the Shop is moved to bigger place equipped with an Atelier,where in 2008 the success of the accessories overshadow the pastries. Today “les cakes de bertrand”offers a huge collection of bags,jewellery,accessories,beauty products and list doesn’t end there.
